The people of Newtonmore in Badenoch & Strathspey have chosen my proposal for an art installation in the village square.
My design proposal for an art installation for the village of Newtonmore has been chosen after being short-listed down to four applicants. The other submissions were all very different and excellent designs in their own right, so I’m very chuffed and honoured to have been chosen by the people of Newtonmore. This is a very ambitious design made up of a large number of elements including carved standing stone, shinty stick (caman) benches, carved poetry panels and a water feature.
